We describe what will become fuller, what will remain unchanged and the risks of putting material in that area.

We may make a localised change, stage treatment with review or leave a feature alone when more volume would not serve it.

FAQ

Common questions about Dermal Filler.

What kind of filler does this page describe?

This page describes hyaluronic acid filler. Other injectable materials, including collagen stimulators, have different properties and are explained separately.

Will I look overfilled?

Avoiding an overfilled appearance is a planning goal, not a guarantee. Discuss the amount of change you want and where fullness would be unwelcome before agreeing to treatment.

Can filler lift loose skin?

Adding volume may alter contour, but it does not remove excess skin or reproduce surgery. If laxity is the main issue, more filler may not address it.

Is the result immediate?

A volume change can be visible immediately, but swelling affects the early appearance. Assess the settled result at the agreed review point.

Can it be dissolved?

Hyaluronidase may reduce HA filler in selected circumstances. Dissolving has its own risks and limitations, so reversibility should not be treated as a guarantee.

What if I already have filler?

Share the product, areas and dates if known, including any previous dissolving or complications. Existing material can affect the plan even years later.

Do you offer nose filler?

No. SkinAlchemy does not offer nose filler. We can discuss the concern without recommending an injection in that area.

How much will I need?

The amount follows the intended change and tissue assessment. A syringe count alone cannot describe what the result should look like.

What should I share before treatment?

Share medications, allergies, medical conditions and previous procedures, including pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant. Follow your individual preparation instructions. Do not stop prescribed medication on your own.

What risks should I understand?

Swelling, bruising, lumps and infection are possible. Rare vascular complications can damage skin or vision. Unusual severe pain, pale or dusky skin need urgent assessment; sudden vision or neurological changes require emergency care.

What does treatment cost?

Dermal filler is $550 per syringe. We confirm the price and what your plan includes at a complimentary consultation, before you commit.

Who will perform my treatment?

Dermal Filler is performed by Sonia Vilos, NP and Tina Nguyen at SkinAlchemy. Your booking confirms who treats you, and they agree the plan with you before starting.

Can it be part of a combined plan?

Sometimes different concerns need different tools. The reason for each treatment and the order should be clear. Pairing does not automatically mean the same appointment.
